March of 2021, in partnership with the Tresor Women Warriors, FFAMM, Inc. organized a women's health medical mission at the Kwinella Health Center. Our Health Service Director, Melissa Fleming, CNM, saw 34 female patients and delivered a healthy baby girl! May of 2021, FFAMM, Inc. raised $6,571 to purchase and transport a Mindray DP20 Portable Ultrasound Machine with two transponders, 800 disposable sanitary pads and 300 delivery underpads. We provided maternal sanitary disposables to help reduce the rate of infection and to increase the overall quality of patient care. Public and private donations provided:

CLINICAL CAPACITY-BUILDING, MEN'S REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH & ADOLESCENT FEMALE HEALTH TRAINING
In May of 2022, FFAMM, inc. provided and implemented a menstrual hygiene program for secondary school-aged females attending Kwinella Upper School. This included didactic program that was offered to
about 70 students, and 53 reusable menstrual kits produced by the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated, Tau Delta Zeta chapter. The reusable pads can reduce infection, absenteeism and pollutants. We taught a men's reproductive health course, teaching 20+ male community members in Kartung, The Gambia. Our health services team presented a discussion-based/plain-language course with translation assistance on basic male/female anatomy, reproduction, family planning methods, disease prevention and female genital mutilation. In additional to this, we also: - Developed and implemented a Microscopy and Identifying Vaginal Infection training (didactic and practical). - Donated a microscope to the health center. - Provided (from public/private donations to our organization) maternal sanitary disposables to help reduce the rate of infection and to increase the overall quality of patient care.
